Malesherbia linearifolia
“Blue Star of Cordillera”

A super-ultra-rare plant with stunning 2” purple and maroon flower with bright white centers. Hailing from the deserts of Chile and Peru, it reaches 3’x3’ with an abundance of wiry stems speckled with the showy flowers from late Spring thru Fall. It’s a great “see-thru” plant, adding color, texture, and movement to the garden without blocking its neighbors. Used to dry conditions, it has also done great for us with average water. Plant in very well-drained soil. Add mulch to roots to protect during Winter. Be the first on your block to add this rare gem to your garden!
