Tanacetum parthenium ‘Vegmo Snowball’ "Feverfew" One of the great plants for cut flowers, this “Feverfew” variety features nearly an endless parade of one inch snow white flowers from Spring thru Fall. The pom-pom blooms feature just enough of a creamy yellow center to add a hint of color. Durable, adaptability to a variety of growing conditions, long blooming and should self-sow where happy. Tall stems and long-lasting blooms make this a terrific for bouquets, and the dazzling white compliments any arrangement. It forms a sturdy multi-branching plant up to 3’ tall and 2’ wide, populated with attractive lacy foliage. This foliage has a distinctive medicinal scent and, in fact, its common name owes to the fact that it was used to treat fevers and digestive problems in traditional medicine. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. It can be used as a low border, added to a sunny perennial bed or grown in a container. Deer resistant. Butterflies! |
