Cosmos bipinnatus
'Lemonade'

It has finally happened! Someone has bred a “just right” yellow Cosmos. Not too tall or too short, not too late blooming, not too wimpy, but just right! We planted ours in early Summer and by mid-August it was brimming with charming 2.5” primrose yellow blooms all around the dense rounded 30” x 30” bright green foliage. Primrose yellow color is not that easy to come by in Summer bloomers, and so valuable a compliment to pinks, blues and whites. Rich, loamy soil is best for this Cosmos. Elegant cut flowers and butterflies! Excellent in containers (15+ gal).
