Lavatera trimestris
'Pink Blush'

One of the showiest, most useful and longest blooming cottage garden annual of all! This lovely non-dwarfing variety quickly grows to a proper 2-3’ high and wide (!) with masses of 3”, pink-blushed, Hibiscus-like flowers from early Summer right up to first frost! Grown from seed so color is slightly variable with the occasional all-white flowering plant cropping up. If you haven’t grown this easy beauty yet, you’re in for a treat! Perfect for containers (5 gal.+) or any garden that needs a good plumping. Wonderful cut flowers. Attracts bees and butterflies. Plant in rich, well-draining soil in full sun for best show, but does tolerate poor soil. Deadhead regularly to prolong bloom season. Reseeds!
