Make a big, bold statement in your low water garden with the metallic blue leaves on this grass-like succulent native to Mexico. Growing over 4’ high and wide, it forms a handsome mound of cascading serrated foliage. Very showy! In Summer, 15’ tall flower spikes emerge topped with creamy white flowers that attract bees galore! Provide excellent drainage for a healthy plant – or try it in a large pot if your soil is less than ideal. Extremely tolerant of abject neglect but grows faster and looks better with the occasional sip of water and a bit of compost.
