Echeveria diffractens Lustworthy flat, starry rosettes of rich, chocolatey-plum 12" across and lightly edged in creamy-pink are certainly sensational in the garden and even more so when they're blooming. 15-20" strongly erect stems, studded with also-chocolatey leaflets are crowned in Summer with startling, radiant orange to red, urn-shaped flowers. When the leaflets fall, they birth new plants! Super duper for creating colorful foliage vignettes. We grew ours last year with Echeveria colorata, Sedum 'Angelina' and Sedum 'Voodoo'.
