Here’s a chance to grab this magnificent ornamental tree at an affordable price! A spectacular fast-growing street tree to 30’ tall with a rounded crown spreading to 30’ across. Finely cut fern-like leaves usually drop around February, followed by a breathtaking display of large, dense, lightly fragrant clusters of 2” lavender tubular flowers (usually in June). Tolerant of a wide variety of soils, it does best with some drainage & fertilizing. Drought tolerant once established, it’s happiest with an occasional deep watering during its leafy period in Summer. Wind resistant. Established trees can tolerate brief periods of 20° F.
