The demure pink flowers on this beautiful vine are sugar and spice and everything nice with a touch of weird and wild appeal. Punchy pink outer sepals pair with darkly speckled lime green and yellow inner petals. Blooms off and on thru all the warmer months followed by huge, showy seed pods with glowing red seeds! My advice is to keep it somewhere you can appreciate the blooms up close. Provide support for the twining stems. Very tough and drought tolerant once established but looks best in rich, well-drained soil with average water. Clean up the spent shoots by cutting them to the ground annually to keep things tidy. Native to Central America.
