Kniphofia ‘Nancy's Red’

 Kniphofia ‘Nancy's Red’

Need something spicy for the border? Nancy is the lady for you! She’s petite at 2’ high, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t make a statement. Big, bold deep cherry-coral tubular blooms measuring 10” long put on a show mid-Summer through early Fall. Hummingbirds go nuts for them! An 18” wide tuft of blue green, grassy, semi-evergreen foliage makes ‘Nancy’ perfect for small spaces. Kniphofias are remarkably tough & adaptable - tolerant of clay, heat, drought, deer, coastal conditions... just avoid waterlogged soils, occasionally bait for snails, clean out the foliage every once in a great while & the plants will do the rest! Occasional Summer water & a top-dressing of compost annually is recommended for best appearance.
