Gnidia polystachya Practically ever-blooming, this extremely rare South African shrub is totally EASY to grow! About 3’ tall & 4’ across, it forms a lovely emerald green, softly textured, ferny, dense rounded form. A profuse bloomer beginning about mid Spring & lasting thru Fall, you’ll get a mass display of soft yellow flower clusters (1.5”) made up of small tubular blooms. A truly big bang for the buck! All you need is good drainage & a bit of compost once a year in Spring. Cut it back by 1/3 in Winter to maintain a nice compact form. A long blooming focal shrub for rock or succulent gardens & especially nice combined with true-blue Echium gentianoides & Euphorbia mellifera. Annie |
