Iris douglasiana ‘PB&J’
Grapey-colored goodness combines with a dab of nutty color to create a fun, frilly, oozing-out-at-the-edges fancy Iris for your garden. Bred by our local friend Ryan Grisso, this fun yet sophisticated, evergreen, drought tolerant, Iris forms a dense clump of glossy green foliage 1’ tall & 3-4’ wide. Blooms in spring producing 4-5” wide flowers. Native to CA, these Irises can deal with no Summer water once established & grow well under Oaks – though they do look their pretties with occasional Summer water. Once mature, it can be divide it in December for freebies. Provide good drainage & afternoon shade in hot, inland gardens.
