Sedum oreganum
“Oregon Stonecrop”

Sedum oreganum Oregon Stonecrop Sedum oreganum Oregon Stonecrop

An oh-so-hardy, evergreen, CA native groundcover! Growing no higher than 4” and often lower, it spreads wide where space allows. Delightful in rock gardens, containers, or edging a bed. It’s an excellent groundcover for average water gardens where most succulents would melt. Yellow flowers are borne in Summer attracting butterflies and bees. Provide good drainage for best health. This Sedum is actually edible in small quantities, though eating too much may give you a headache. According to some herbalists just being in close proximity to the plant can cure closed-mindedness, but I have my doubts...
