Lobelia erinus
‘Fountain Blue’
Lobelia erinus ‘Fountain Blue’

How sad is it when the epitome of essential front-of-the-bed trailers begins to disappear from nurseries? I would have thought this impossible, and yet it’s true here in our area. So for those of you (like us) who love trailing Lobelia, we are ever so glad to oblige! So long blooming, so lovely with its mass of graceful, tumbling azure-blue half inch flowers, we all love it for its toughness, and how it so fancifully softens the edge of the garden container. How important for baskets and window boxes as well! Blooms forever it seems, often lives over here in USDA Zone 10, and always self sows to grace your gardening world every year. Rich soil for prettiest show! To 6”x6”.
