Inexplicably overlooked by the nursery trade, this fabuloso hard to find perennial Viola has a flower color so rich & sexy, that to see it is to need it! Blooming lustily from late Spring to Fall, Ms. ‘Ulla’ displays multitudes of intense deep purple 1” blooms well displayed atop upright stems to 6” tall adding depth & sumptuosity. Very cool planted mid-bed between shrubs, under roses or combined with the golden foliage of Tanacetum parthenium aureum. Slowly spreading to about 1’ across. Rich well drained soil for most bloom! Cut back for quick rejuvenation.
