Claytonia sibirica "Candyflower"
AKA "Western Spring Beauty"

Growing beautifully in DENSE SHADE, this charming little native perennial can reseed to form a lovely spring-summer blooming carpet under conifers or damp, dark areas. A cousin of the familiar “Miner’s Lettuce”, it bears attractive, shiny, fleshy, spatula-shaped leaves. White to pink “Candyflowers” are borne on racemes for a long period, or for as long as there is moisture, May thru August generally.  Reseeds!
