I’m ADDICTED to this perennial! Tough & reliable, I use it everywhere because it BLOOMS SPRING THRU FALL (with dead-heading). Non-stop, showy, pink, hollyhock-like 1” flowers on upright branching stems to 3’ make a nice vertical accent and invite butterflies & hummers. Rich green scalloped leaves form a no-fuss, compact mound to 30” across. Excellent planted mid-bed as well as edges, it comes back bigger & bloomier each year after a Winter’s sleep! Endangered native to coastal meadows and marshes of British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. Easily grown in a container - at least 5 gallon size - and makes nice romantic cut flowers too! Tolerates salt! Rich soil for best show.
