Salvia canariensis var. candidissima

Salvia canariensis var. candidissima

With its arresting, bright silvery-white (and furry!) foliage and stems, this rare Salvia makes a fabulous highlight for a sunny, dry garden. Reaching 5' x 5' in a single season, you'll appreciate its nice bushy and upright habit crowned from Summer to Fall with flashy, 12" spikes  of rosey blooms held in rich violet-purple calyces. EASY, deer resistant and drought tolerant, it’s best in well drained soil with some compost added and makes for happy bees and hummers. Cut back to 2' tall in Winter.
