This totally tough western Syria native resists deer, handles droughty conditions and stays pretty through it all. Butterfly and bee approved large, 3” clusters of yellow flowers form pom-pom like fuzzy balls along branch tips late Spring through early Summer. Velvety, heart-shaped leaves form a rosette that slowly spreads.  To  3.5’ tall and 4-5’ wide. Leave the spent seed heads on the plant to provide some Winter interest!
