Salvia chiapensis
“Chiapas Sage”

I'm a huge fan of this Salvia because it gives great bloom year round here in coastal California. Easy and long lived with plentiful flashy rose-fuchsia flowers well displayed on many, many graceful stems, you get lots of garden sparkle and movement. And the pleasing, oval foliage forms a dense rounded, can't-see-thru-it shape that looks great planted at the edge or corner of the garden. Wonderful long blooming container (15+ gal) subject! 3'x3'. Do plant in rich, well-drained soil. Cut back anytime for fresh growth. Hummers! Deer resistant! Hardy to 20 F.
