Puya mirabilis

Puya mirabilis Puya mirabilis

The quickest blooming Puya – flowering just one year after planting! Elegant, flaring, lime green bells held in fuzzy purple-grey calyxes – up to 15 per stem – are nicely displayed on stiff upright 3’ tall stems. Compact and carefree bright-green foliar rosettes grow to only 10-12” tall and 20” across – the perfect size even teensy gardens. Refreshingly unusual and happy in any well drained garden or container! Like all Puyas, it’s very tough, drought tolerant, deer resistant and attracts hummingbirds! Hardy to 20 degrees F.
