Schizanthus grahamii

We love this beautiful & rare species Schizanthus from Chile! Unlike the hybrid form commonly found in nurseries, this vigorous & easy to grow annual for the shade can grow to 30” tall & 30” across. Quick growing, it will bloom this Fall with a profusion of fascinating, 1”, bright magenta, “butterfly” flowers with one erect top petal that is bright yellow. The foliage is a nice plus, too, it’s a ferny, attractive, rich, emerald green. This Schizanthus grahamii is a perfect container subject for a bright shade or part shade area & especially effective on a front porch, backyard patio or patio centerpiece where you can enjoy the striking blooms close up. Schizanthus grahamii loves rich soil & regular water & the best part is that it self sows easily, so you can enjoy it year after year. Wow your visitors with this unusual favorite here at Annie’s.
