Ursinia sericea

This is a stunning shrublet from South Africa, a great combination of silver & gold. Many of you have enjoyed this plant growing in one of our nursery beds for a while. Now we are finally able to offer it for sale. The finely cut foliage is very silvery, almost white. The flowers are a bright golden-yellow on super long stalks. It’s fun to watch the flowers open. When they are in bud the stalk is bent at the neck & the bud hangs down. As the flower matures, they fling their faces up, straightening to the sun. The entire plant gets to be about 3’ tall & wide & blooms for months. It can take dry conditions but regular water makes it look better. Good drainage is a must.
