“Red Mint” “Texas Betony”

Easy and long blooming, this Texas native bears 1 1/4”, coral-red, tubular flowers arranged in pretty whorls around 12”-18” tall, erect stems. The attractive, grey-green leaves have serrated edges and form a neat mound. A must for the front to middle of the flowerbed and excellent in containers. Combine it with something blue, like Gilia achilleafolia or Delphinium bellamosum. A great HUMMINGBIRD MAGNET! Deer resistant too! “Texas Betony”, will bloom Spring thru Fall and prefers rich loamy soil
