Phacelia
grandiflora
“Large Flowered Phacelia”
Native to Alameda County and Southern California this lovely Phacelia has
extra large flowers, 1”-2” across in quite a pretty shade of lavender. It
grows 2’-3’ tall, is nicely upright and branching and blooms in April, May
and June. Re-seeds! Fragrant!
The tiny hairs on Phacelia can cause skin dermatitis for some people so be sure to wear long sleeves & gloves when gardening around them! |
