Euphorbia palustris

Fast, EASY & deer resistant, this European native Euphorbia also bestows lovely Fall color when its foliage turns bright orange & yellow. From 2’ to 3’ tall & 3’ to 4’ across, Euphorbia palustris forms bright green, radiating, willow-like leaves on delicately branching stems. In Spring to mid-Summer, it puts on quite a show of large, umbel-like, chartreusy-yellow flower bracts. Thrives in moist conditions, but tolerates some dryness, too. Perfect for the edge of a woodland garden, where deer are prevalent. Not fussy about soil. Milky sap is an irritant to skin & eyes.
