Eccremocarpus scaber 'Tresco Gold'

Rare, easy, fast growing & fabulous! This floriferous vine will easily cover a 6’ x 8’ trellis in 3-4 months & then stops there, so as not to become a menace. The dark green foliage is quite elegant & ferny & makes little tendrils for hooking onto a support. A multitude of 6” sprays are produced all Summer, bearing lots of waxy, tubular, golden flowers, much loved by hummingbirds. Thrives in part shade in rich, loamy soil. Hardy to about 15°.
