Easy, rare & outrageous, here’s
a real treat for you collectors of subtropicals. This Eupatorium
relative from Mexico forms a multi-branching shrub 8’
tall or more & blooms Fall - Spring here. The flower clusters
are nicely displayed well above the foliage & look like
giant Ageratum blooms & are fragrant too! The leaves are
a beautiful, velvety green, large & tropical looking,
with dark violet veining. The very upright stalks & stems
are deep maroon/purple. Bartlettina thrives (& grows fast)
in bright shade & moist, rich soil. Frost tender.
