Aquilegia chrysantha
‘Yellow Queen'

The chrysantha species of Columbine which is native to the Southwest seems to be the most vigorous + bloomiferous of all the species. A. chrysantha is also wonderfully fragrant! It grows great here and bears a mass of yellow flowers Spring + Summer. This variety, ‘Yellow Queen' is supposed to have even larger flowers. Will rebloom if cut back. This one is mildew resistant too and will thrive in full sun. Reseeds!
