A very showy & vigorous California native of the Phlox family. "Mountain Bouvardia" bears tight clusters of flowers in an unusual shade of soft apricoty-butterscotch with lovely blue pollen-tipped anthers. In lean soil it will grow to about 18" tall, but in good garden soil it can go to 4' tall. Reseeds!
