Graptopetalum paraguayense
‘Pinky’

As a huge fan of “cottage gardens” and heirloom flowers, I have to admit it has taken me years to appreciate all the succulents so popular here in arid California. The first time I saw Graptopetalum paraguayense ‘Pinky’ without hesitation I fell in love with its densely crowded leaves in sensual sunset hues forming highly attractive trailing rosettes. This was a succulent I could really admire. It just looked, well, so artistic. Easy and carefree 3-10” tall and 3’ across, it grows in part shade as well as full sun. Extremely ornamental in a container or well-drained dry garden.
