Forming dense tufts, it yields large quantities of elegant, intense, lilac-blue “pincushion” flowers, 3"-4" ACROSS, on the 12” tall stems. The cut flowers are long lasting, making this plant a must for the cutting garden. Scabiosa caucasica likes a sunny position in well-drained soil.
