Oenothera tetragona 

Brilliant yellow clusters of fragrant 2” saucer shaped flowers put on a show atop 18” stems all Summer long on this long-blooming evening primrose.  Glossy green foliage is complimented by red tinted flower buds & stems. Young foliage has hints of red as well. Gorgeous next to Erygium tripartitum, Asclepias, Lavender or Dianthus barbatus nigrescens ‘Sooty’. Average to poor soil is just fine, along with hot & dry situations. Perfect for dry parking strips!
