Why should you grow this magnificent Columbine? Because it has huge flowers, the largest in the genus, 2”-3” across & the blooms turn upwards showing us their fabulous faces. The petals are sky blue with a well-developed, white corolla. Worthy of the best position in the garden, it blooms in late Spring to Summer. To 2’ tall, it loves rich, well-drained soil. Colorado’s State Flower! So lovely!
