Deliciously scented 6-8” spikes of soft yellow flowers appear in profusion Spring-mid Summer on our much admired coastal Lupine. Densely branching with silvery green leaves, it grows quickly to about 4’x4’. After bloom, cut it back to maintain a nice bushy form. Deer resistant & drought & neglect tolerant, it needs no Summer water once established. Perfect for parking strips, CA native gardens & dry gardens. Well-drained soil is best. Bumblebees, butterflies & cut flowers galore! Self-sows.
