Antirrhinum multiflorum
"Rose Snapdragon"

Native to our coast and transverse ranges,
from Alameda all the way down to San Bernardino County & eastward
through the Sierra Nevada foothills, this delicate-looking wild Snapdragon
is sadly on the decline. ½” pink & creamy-yellow flowers are densely
borne on 3’ flower spikes above 2' evergreen foliage. Heavily frequented
by hummingbirds & butterflies, it's deer resistant & tolerant of many soils - including clay. Blooms in late Spring & Summer. Cut back to 12" during winter
to keep it looking pretty!
