Lathyrus nervosa
"Lord Anson's Blue Pea"
This is a very rare plant from Pantagonia discovered by Lord Anson of course in 1744. I've had this plant in my garden for 2 years and I love it. I am most impressed by not only the clear blue color of the flowers, but how substantial they are and how they grow on long stems all pointing upwards. It's fragrant too and blooms all summer long! Watch for snails when young.
