| Geum
chiloense
‘Mrs. Bradshaw’
Highly valued for their long bloom season and
easy care, Geums also give us charm and movement in the garden.
‘Mrs. Bradshaw’ forms lovely, scarlet, semi-double
flowers that are shaped like small roses on multibranching, wiry
stems that sway with the breeze. The wiry stems provide that romantic
touch to mixed bouquets and Geums last quite well when cut. Fresh,
green, fuzzy foliage makes an attractive rosette and is not bothered
by any insects or diseases. A perfect addition to the cottage
garden, ‘Mrs. Bradshaw’ would look great combined
with bright yellows, golds and true blues (like Delphiniums, Salvias).
Native to Chile. 2' tall.
