Geissorhiza splendidissima

This is a very beautiful flowering bulb endemic to the area of Nieuwoudtville, along the cape of South Africa. The large, glossy, 1 - 1.5,” deep blue-violet flowers with green-yellow throats & orange anthers stay open during the day. 9” - 11” tall, they are fairly easy to grow as long as you use a sandy potting mix.
