This totally tropical climber with HUGE, 5” wild crimson flowers kissed with canary-yellow rippled edges makes AMAZING, long-lasting cut flowers. The National Flower of Zimbabwe it quickly grows 6-8’ tall via long, narrow leaves with tendrils at the tips.  Bloomiferous Spring through Fall! Great in containers, you can even grow it indoors in a sunny window. For those of you in colder parts just dig up the tubers in Fall & replant in Spring after frost danger has past. All parts poisonous.
