As we are SO not fans of the modern hybridized, dwarfed & charmless “Florist’s Cineraria” we are thrilled to be able to offer this original parent species! (We also offer the other parent Pericallis lanata). 3-4’ TALL “Wild Cineraria” boasts wide branching sprays of bright pink daisy-like blooms with lavender centers (excellent cut flowers) from mid Spring-mid Summer. Added bonus: purple undersides of the large attractive leaves, EASY, FAST & reliably self-sowing, Pericallis is deer resistant as well! Just a ‘must-have’ for partly shady gardens, Pericallis doesn’t mind shallow soil or root competition! Yay! Best in well drained soil with some compost in added. Self sows.
