Our take on a good book and a cuppa tea. Hortus Miscellaneous: A Hodgepodge of Information and Instruction by Lorene Edwards Forkner is a totally entertaining and informative book, filled with useful and whimsical gardening tidbits. From handy lists (which plants are good for the cutting garden, which weeds are edible, which common garden plants are toxic, etc.) to recipes for teas and candied violets, it's a hard to put down read. Add our colorful 15 oz. Annie's mug and a nice big tea strainer and you've got everything you need for a rainy day (you supply the couch!). It's what we would want for the holidays!
