Dianthus 'Inchmery'

Introduced in 1800, this refined heirloom is sweetly charming! Truly old-fashioned, double, soft shell pink flowers with smooth-edged petals arrive in May, & are delicately displayed atop foot-long stems against the light blue foliage. 'Inchmery' is particularly long blooming, with a strong, spicy fragrance. Try in rockeries, sunny borders, spilling over garden walls, or in a fragrant bouquet. Dianthus do poorly in humid climes, & need good air circulation & drainage to thrive. To 1' x 1'.
