| Eryngium ebracteatum
This would be a fantastic plant for you Piet Oudolf garden fans. It seems like a plant one would find in his designs. The very tall wiry stems grow 4’ tall & are topped by charming maroon flowers. Would make a great cut flower. The rosette of leaves are very nice too, with narrow, ever grey-green leaves. Blooms for a long time too, Spring-Fall. Just cut back for re-bloom. Native to moist areas in Paraguay & Argentina but it can take some dryness too. Kelly Kilpatrick
