Coreopsis maritima
“Beach Dahlia”
A rare & endangered Coreopsis native to our Southern California coastal dunes. Large, long flowering, bright yellow daisies are well displayed above the clump of stout, unusual, fern-like foliage. In its native habitat, it grows in lean, sandy soil & gets NO SUMMER WATER once established. So it’s best planted in poor, well draining soil. Blooms March thru June. 2’ tall. Good cut flower.
