“Strawflower”

This is the TALL, EASY, ORIGINAL strawflower – a stately & cheerful easy cottage annual – growing 4’ tall by 2’ wide. Tolerating full, hot sun, negligence, & less than perfect soil, it’s a perennial here in USDA zones 9 & up, & is easily grown as an annual elsewhere. The crisp, golden flowers will only open when the sun is out. Strawflowers are mainstays of dried flower arrangements, & keep for years & years without falling apart. From Australia, these plants prefer average water & good drainage.
