Tomato ‘Spain’

An original from local tomato scientists Baia Nicchia (www.baianicchia.blogspot.com), this new for 2007 variety is perfect for Bay Area gardeners, maturing early on compact vines, & bred to withstand our relatively cool Summers. ‘Spain’ has medium-sized elongated fruit with red & yellow striped skin, & is named for the Spanish flag. Plants are very productive with a sweet flavor. Mmm.
