Impatiens hoehnelii ‘Cherangi’

I’m so very delighted with this very rare perennial Impatiens discovered on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. To 2’ tall & slowly spreading to a multi-branchy 30” across, it blooms continuously from Spring thru Fall with sweet & graceful 1.5-2” lavender flowers looking so much like floaty butterflies. Overwintering with ease here the past few years, the blooms look totally enchanting rising above baby-blue perennial “Forget Me Not” Myosotis sylvestris beneath a rosebush. Rich soil. Cut back to 2” in Winter.
