| Teucrium polium
ssp. aureum
Quite the fascinating little shrublet from the Mediterranean “Felty Germander”. Grows only to about 6” tall & 1’ across, yet attracts lots of attention for its snowy appearance. White fuzz completely covers its narrow, densely held leaves which are topped with yellow flowers in the summer. Ever-white, it’s nice looking year round, & excellent drainage is a must – or grow in a clay pot. Native to sunny rocky areas, we find it tolerates part shade too.
