Lupinus arboreus ‘White’

A spectacular, large shrub Lupine quickly reaching 6’ tall & 6’ across! This long blooming & especially robust selection of our usually yellow native “Coastal Lupine” was obtained thru a seed source in England. Fast growing & evergreen it blooms Spring through Summer bearing an amazing multitude of lovely, 8” white spikes that develop lavender petals with age. Beautiful dense, deep green foliage too. Long lived, this variety thrives in well watered gardens as well as low-water gardens. Grow it in rich soil, & cut back to 3’ tall after it’s completely finished blooming for best performance next Spring. You’ll love it! Bees, butterflies & hummers will too!
