Centaurea rothrockii

Oh, this plant is so beautiful & we are so lucky that Rick LaFrentz, the gardener at Sunset Magazine, grew this last year and collected the seeds for us. This giant Cornflower grows 4-5 ft tall, with many long, strong stems. Crowning the stems are big, big, 4 inch, fluffy, purple-pink flowers with creamy yellow centers. Long blooming and a fabulous cut flower!
